The United States are not as amazing and perfect as Muggles think, not when you look through magical eyes. The five regional Ministries are frequently at odds with each other if not at war, and even the federal Ministry declares war with other nations on a whim. The Muggles? Completely oblivious. So are the majority of American witches and wizards, who are much more concerned with achieving the American dream without being murdered.
But things have begun to change in the quiet, if wartorn States. An alliance of blood purists has risen up, inspired by the message of similar groups in Europe. The Underground, a secretive society originally formed by criminals but now opening its ranks to civilians, has begun to plan a rebellion against war and against the government. But though groups aiming to overthrow the government are forming, they are too late: the current American Minister is weak, and his Council of regional Ministers has already been corrupted and overthrown. It is only a matter of time before shadowy hands have control of the government, and the future of the American States is in jeopardy.
And yet life carries on despite the chaos, as folk try to make the best of an impossible situation. The catalyst that will change the world is coming, and soon there will be NOWHERE TO STAND.
We are a semi-literate to literate RPG set in the year 2020. We do not accept characters from the canon and mostly do our own thing. Just opened, no word count, and a friendly, established staff. What else do you want?
