Court intrigue runs rampant through this lands. The Seelie and Unseelie are always at odds with each other, each trying to prove who is superior. But such a war is not the only thing to try to wade through.
The nobles of both courts are always trying to gain power for themselves. Alliances rise and fall constantly throughout the sidhe. Some plot against their high rule, coveting the throne for themselves. None of these plots are easy or simple. They are webs of half told truths and so much omission that its hard to tell if someone is friend or foe at any given moment.
And through this all, they wait and hope. Both courts wish for the Goddess and Consort to move among them once more, blessing them with power they once had. The high rulers hope the deities will move only among their people, wanting to prove once and for all which court is truly superior.
Only time will tell how these schemes and prayers to the Goddess will pan out.
