Hello my luverlies. I’m here to introduce Rozalia to you all and put up some information on who her people are. This could act as a guide if anyone should be interested in making a character that is part of her group.(still haven’t given them an official name yet. Being lazy.)
Who is Rozalia?
She is a healer, highly skilled by the standards of the time, and currently residing in Regina’s castle. She does not have an official status in the court, but is treated as a Lady. She treats both the castle inhabitants and also the surrounding villages as needed. She isn’t overly popular, but you won’t find too many people who dislike her. She is just sort of there most of the time she isn’t working. What everyone agrees on is that she is a talented healer. What the observant and curious agree on is that she has secrets and there is definitely more to her than meets the eye.
Where is she from?
This is the interesting part. Rozalia is a part of a people who don’t really have a country. They live in towns that are tucked away in remote areas and protected by tricky building and such from being accidentally discovered. There are ten of these places throughout Regina, Silus, and Helios and an eleventh that is used as a meeting place for their council four times a year. They either live in one of their hidden villages or among one of the three countries.
Who are they?
It is said that they used to be a part of another country well away from where they are now. A faction of this country was forced to leave and they traveled together for a while. Eventually they split off into groups and found places out of the way to settle. Since then they have kept up a tradition of wandering and keeping a discreet eye on the goings ons of the countries around them. During war time, as long as they do not feel that one side is overly dangerous to the world at large, they mostly retreat, using long practiced methods to keep themselves hidden and out of other people’s business.
A few qualities they tend to share:
--They look nicer outside. Their coloring tends to be the sort that really shines in sunlight and they are generally more comfortable out of doors.
--They are good with secrets. Each in their own way, but nearly all of them can keep secrets very well and are equally good at figuring out other people’s secrets. Its how they are raised.
--They tend to gravitate towards the people in charge of whatever area they are in. You can usually find at least two in every capitol city, if not more. But more than that, if there is a secret society or rebellion or whatnot, there is usually one of them involved in some way, it’s a part of their survival to know what’s going on in the shadows.
Who knows them?
They are not complete secrets. They have, on occasion, dealt openly with various groups/factions/countries. But when this does happen it is usually specially picked people from the group. People who dress up special are taught to speak in a way that is just a bit off. This means that they are seen by outsiders to be strange or easy to pick out, allowing the average member of their society to blend in. The gypsies are one group the most likely to be able to identify one of her People as they have had more interaction and her people tend to marry gypsies when they marry outside of their own numbers.

--Ten Groups
--Eleventh Place for Council Meetings 4 Times a year
--Three Council members from each group.
--Each group has a Totem, each person either has that tattooed on them or wears the symbol in jewelry/clothes.
--Each person is given a sort of family tree when they are married that is a map of where their families came from, with different colored thread to mark the different groups. These can range from one or two colors to a veritable rainbow.

--An acrobat and dancer employed by BLANKS royal court.
Mister __________
--A fletcher and bow maker. Highly valued for his talents.
2. Grove
Totem: Oak Tree
Color: Green
Miss __________
--A socialite known for her lavish themed parties.
Mister __________
--A successful merchant with an ability to locate rare goods. His business is based mainly in Silus, but he travels often to acquire special orders for his customers that he can’t trust to his workers. He uses his connections with the People to his advantage in this business. He is currently under contract to deliver a certain special ‘something’ to Regina as a present from the king to whichever lucky prince gets the girl.
He is intelligent and cunning and can charm most anyone. He isn‘t a bad person really, but he looks out for himself and his people first, his business second, and random bystanders last.
He is ROZALIA’S ex-lover.
3. Hart’s Peak
Totem: Wolf
Color: Grey
Miss _________
--A horse trainer employed in the royal stables or Regina. Her brother is MISTER HART’S PEAK
Mister _________
--The next in line to be head of the Kennels at the castle in Regina. He has two wolf-dog mixes. His brother is MISS HART’S PEAK.

Color: Orange
Miss _________
--A seamstress in the personal employ of the Queen of Silus. She is the confidant of the Queen and has the extra duty of providing the King with misinformation.
Mister __________
--An Earl in Helios. One of the only People to hold a title this high in any of the three countries. His Helion family crest includes a woman carrying an eternal flame and he keeps a flame burning at all times in a small chapel on his lands there to pay homage to his People.
The story behind the flame is that his ancestor, a landless knight, was thought lost in battle. His wife kept a fire burning day and night. After exactly one year he appeared, claiming that as he lay wounded he dreamt of a light that warmed him. He spent months slowly healing and hiding from his enemies, always dreaming of the light. During this time he learned of several enemy secrets and this information and his bravery earned him his title and a small holding.
5. Stony Den
Totem: Sun
Color: Red
Miss ___________
--A fortune teller and potion maker who lives among the gypsies. She is married to a gypsy has twin daughters she hasn’t told about them or her husband about the People yet.
Mister __________
--An older man, he is one of the council members of Stony Den and likes to keep an eye on the other members of the People living outside of their cities.
6. Hutch
Totem: Moon
Color: White

--A healer currently under the employ of the Regina royal court. Treats the surrounding villages as well. MISTER GROVE is her ex-lover.
Mister ________
--A thief and outlaw. There is a reward on his head in Silus. He steals things for his own amusement, never picking on easy prey because he likes a challenge.

Totem: Rain
Color: Blue
Miss __________
--The youngest council member of all the tribes at just twenty-five. She has more than her share of secrets and is rumored to have a sort of supernatural ability to tell when she should let others in on those secrets. Some even say she is a seer.
Mister __________
--A younger man, a warrior at heart, he went off to train and has a special skill at archery.
8. Fold
Totem: Crow
Color: Black
Miss ________
--A warrior specially trained to be covert. Her family has a long history of being body guards, though the fact that their womenfolk are also employed is a great secret known only by a few. She is currently employed as bodyguard to Princes Rian and Christian. She is posing as a minor nobility who came along to entertain herself and gain social connections with the Regina nobility. Whispers that she and Rian are lovers help her keep her cover.
Mister _______
--A trapper and fur trader. He is a childhood friend of ROZALIA and MISTER GROVE. He has a somewhat tragic past and now avoids contact with most people outside of those two old friends.
9. Byre
Totem: Stag
Color: Brown
Miss _________
--A maid to a Lady of Helios. She is nosy and loves gossip. She has collected a lot of information on what her fellows among the People are up to and keeps a diary detailing what she knows of certain People.
Mister ________
--A knight of Helios. His younger sister is MISS STONY DEN and he highly disapproves of her not letting her children and husband know about the People.
10. Haley’s Run
Totem: Horse
Color: Yellow
Miss ______
--A younger woman, still very wide eyed and innocent. She ventured out into Regina under the guise of being a relative of one of the People already living there(which she is).
Mister ______
--A half gypsy, living among the gypsies. He is rising in their ranks, a natural leader. His plans include taking a position on the Council with the duties of maintaining relations with the gypsies as his father does now.
