Lorus Academy was founded in the early 1800s for young adults who were gifted with supernatural abilities. Previously persecuted for their powers, teens were welcomed to Lorus with open arms and warm smiles. Years went by at Lorus thrived. All the students would learn to control their abilities and could rejoin the human world. These Gifted eventually faded away into the stuff of legends to mortals and life was peaceful.
However, recently there have been outbreaks of Gifted attacking mortals. The two worlds are again about to collide messily and violently unless the attackers are caught and dealt with. The Gifted now live in fear of being discovered and treated as freaks once more.
