Well, that's where you'd have to get creative. I know there's a prominent "storyline", but we don't want anyone to feel restricted or limited in their character's roles or anything. The storyline/setting/plot is tentative at best; it's the members who decide in what direction things'll go. C:

I would imagine court to be very similar to high school - a lotta people, but everyone seems to know everyone. With that being said, your character could easily weasel into the fray by having some affiliation with the present characters or, rather than you initiating the interaction, you could post something up, and we could initiate because, for example, of some status your character has that has attracted the entire peerage's attention or recognition.

...I hope I'm making sense x3 I know it sounds complicated or hard. But it really isn't. I've had a bunch of character ideas like, say, a mistress to a King who's trying to move up to Queen status by seducing one of the Kings-to-be or say, an assassin who's discovered my character - Rian's - plans to sack the kingdom of Regina or, or, or UMMMMM UMM. A sibling of one of the characters who gets pulled into all this mess, and you know, you can plot with the members to stir up even more drama-llama. As for the male, knights/warriors who've just returned from war could be an option or even the Kings/Queens of the kingdoms. You could even make up kingdoms, and have your character be royalty hailing from there if you really wanted, and I could go on and on and on, but I'll leave the specifics up to you? x3

I would luurrvvveee to have some womanly distractions for Rian. lol. The mistress one was my main idea - someone who perhaps was having an affair with the Silian King but sought to move up the social ladder by trying to seduce Rian, and unbeknownst to him, she could be in Regina on some unrelated incident or something idk. x3

OR a younger half-sister of Rian's who's brutally honest, introducing herself as something like "Hi, I'm the bastard daughter of the Silian King", and intent on marrying Rian when her 40-some-year-old husband "drops dead". Yuss. hahaha ^^

I was thinking of introducing a character into the mix and thought I'd put my idea out there.

My so far unnamed character would be a healer at the castle. When asked she will just say that her country is now a part of the Silus empire. She doesn't talk much, but listens a lot more than people think. Her skills as a healer are extremely advanced, some of the more uneducated(and those who don't like her) whisper that she is a witch, and her abilities have given her a sort of near noble status. There are other rumors that she is part of the nobility of her country, whatever that country would be.

The truth is that her people are from a part of the world actually tucked into the Silus empire without their knowledge. They are a very small group and they like being able to exisit, for the most part, outside of the general knowledge. There are several members of her society scattered among all three countries, most of them just living their lives as they see fit, but all of them keeping an eye on events for the day when they decide to make their presence known.

I was thinking perhaps someone(the gypsies jumped out at me in particular) would have some knowledge of her people and suspect or know she is one of them.

I've got some general ideas for fitting her into the other two places, but nothing firm just yet.
