soooooooo we're talking about 1920's now and i have an idea for adalia and odette.
1920's is essentially the prohibition era and the rise of speakeasies, which were basically underground bars. speakeasies were often beneath places and secret "keys" were given to people that were invited, in forms of notes or the like. speakeasies could be classy or trashy, depending on the money flow.
odette and adalia are still close friends. secretaries for a railroad company, they find themselves pulled into the speakeasy business when they find men with armfuls of moonshine and other crude alcohol. they were enveloped into the business, which had a double side: industry and alcohol. the head of it all, a man with twin sons (christian and rian), found the new women to be the chance to make his sons grow up.
rian, a hidden misogynist with the face of a womanizer, is advised by his father to take these two women in his palm. adalia is the first mark: quickly and easily, he's charmed her, next into bed (if he can do so without his skin crawling off his skeleton). odette is the next mark -- trouble is, the woman (despite being a flapper girl and singer for the speakeasy's band; by day pancake waitress) is as interested in succumbing as she is interested in melting her face off.
so, yes, interesting antics, flapper girls, alcohol, etc. WE SHALL HAVE FUN.
