First, let me tell you a bit about my character. :]]
Her name is Aevah, without her title, and she is the second in throne to a kingdom a bit far from Silus, Helion, and Regina because of her gender. She has some distant family in Regina that she is coming to meet for the first time. This is her reason for coming down. She has a brother, who is pretty darn protective over her and her dad would have a heart attack if he learned Aevah left, so she left late at night with one of her stablehands. Her brother later caught up with her, and after she pleaded for him to allow her to go, he finally did. She promised to return in a year. So she is now living with her distant relatives in Regina, and almost no one figures she is a princess. Her brother is to retrieve her in three months, and at that time the people she lives with and around will learn of her high-ranking status.
But for now, she is a simple peasant. She doesn't hate the work, but despite her families urges, she refuses to take a man. Besides her father and her brother, Aevah hates being controlled, and takes a man as everything that is dominating. But if she takes a man before the three months is up, Aevah will have the right to the Aeverian throne by age (yes she is older then her brother by a year). Aeveria is where she comes from. x]]
Aevah and Rian meet when Aevah is offered a position to work for the Reginien princess. They hate each other to began with, and go at each other's throats like wild coyotes.
So, Rian is planned out to die of course. While Rian and Aevah will like each other eventually, they aren't going to fall madly in love. One, because they are both on a time limit, and two because they start out hating each other very, very much. Aevah leaves before Rian dies, so I need someone who will be the reason Aevah earns the throne.
When she returns to Regina, it will be as the young widowed queen of the Aeverian lands. So, yes, she is married in that short time and her husband dies at war. xDD Specifically in a swordfight. Now, by time Aevah returns to Regina, which will be perhaps three weeks maybe a little less, Adalia will have chosen her king. There will be two prince brothers who are very close in age, around half a year apart. One of them will be trying to marry Aevah for the right to her lands, and one she will fall in love with. The one she falls in love with she will have had a slight affair with before the death of her husband. She stopped it because of shame and guilt, although she didn't love her husband. xp So I need two princes.
