the silian king's grand plan
[/i]NRGHHHH. okay, so i was doing my SAT studying and all, and I was subconsciously thinking about exactly what is the Silian King's end objective (yes, i do that) AND BOOM. this word vomit came out c: so i have to post this before i go back to studying x3 they're just notes really, but i dun know, thought i'd ask for approval/suggestions/comments from chuu guysss <3333 so yeah, TOTALLY tentative. if there's anything icky, just post/chat me up in the cboxxxx <33
Count --> assisted in the covering up & murder of the King’s elder brother who was poised to take the throne. If not recompensed, threatened to reveal King’s murder; despite meagerness of title, has significant influence in Leones – southwestern portion of Silian kingdom. Rather than having him killed, King agreed to terms. Could not marry off direct descendent to him b/c arouse too much suspicion, thus did next best thing and married bastard daughter. Count opposed at first but considering Theo’s young age, accepted.
Duke & Daughter --> has immense control over northern Silus; has displayed blatant effrontery to Silian Kingdom & King. Rumors have it that he was planning a coup d’état which w/ his power was possible. Cannot be killed w/o dividing up the kingdom. To threaten him, Silian king sent an order to Rian on the battlefield to assassinate a prominent general – distant cousin and close friend to the Duke. Rian orders general to lead a suicide mission. General is one of handful group of men to return. Thus, Rian decides to do the deed himself. Goes w/ general on a reconnaissance mission; shoots general thru chest w/ arrow whilst making it look like enemy fire. Word gets back to Duke; Duke is convinced King had ordered the death. King’s plan backfires; Duke prepares revolt. King makes last ditch effort: offers Christian to marry his daughter. When Rian dies, Christian becomes King & daughter becomes Queen. Duke agrees.
Rian marries Adalia, dies a few months later & in the mourning and etc., King comes in and in one fell swoop will overrun Regina. Plans will be accomplished: Regina added to kingdom & squashed civil unrest – two birds w/ one stone c:
